The wires going into the clutch switch were not them colors. However I used the reference you gave me for the white/pink wire and found that wire to be broken. Problem finally fixed. Thanks alot

 

hi..i use to have a ford tempo (90) that had the same problem everytime i wanted to start the car i haded to open the hood and jump the selenoid with a screw drive....ok now....all i did was i change the module thats under the distribitor and it woked fine (no more opening hoods) i hope this help...

 

[&o] Yep...that's normal with Ford wiring info....wire colors change even within a same year....anyway,... glad you were able to fix it.
