Pullies?
They mean smaller pullies for the accessories on the front of your engine.
If you make them smaller then it is less pull on your crank, freeing up horsepower.
Basically, you are "underdriving" those items... running them at a slower speed.

yes, they have regular and race. but even the regular can cause charging issues.
all my cars w/ pullies would go dead occasionally in the winter. it is a solid 10 hp gain, but i won't do them anymore.
nowhere near the claims they make in terms of hp......but a solid 1/10 off your et
they are about $100 , and easily done by yourself in less than an hour.
simple tools...the crank pulley is like 6 5/8" bolts or something, the water pump pulley is 4 small ones (about 7/16" maybe), and the alt is 1 1" nut (or close to it)

Not to be the technical Popo [police], but U/D pullies are actually a combo of larger/smaller pulleys. The crank pulley is usually a little smaller or sometimes the same size, but the accessory pullies are larger, i.e. spin slower.
Look at ASP's website. It shows you the different pulley sets you can get and explains a little about how they charge at different rpms....
