Well from what I research I would spend my money on suspension! Some upper and lower control arms, springs, shocks and struts, and don't forget dr's are a valuable investment. I may be mistaken, but I believe someone on this forum has like 232 rwhp and is running high 12's with a nice suspension setup!
ya its rsw007

well i got the short throw shifer adn tyo proxy 4 tires so those sould be fine. as far as the gt40 heads someone mentioned i didant think you cna get those for 800 $??? GT-40p worth what u pay?
The P heads are a drastic improvement from stock and flow almost the same as the FRPP X heads (aluminum). They are a great bang for the buck as far as heads go (if you don't have over $1k to spend on aluminum heads). You should be able to get a set in good shape off here or ebay for under $300. I would put a good valve spring kit on them and have a machine shop dip them and do a 3-angle valve job....Then they'll be great heads for a decent price. You can probably get all that done for ~$500ish, maybe a little more. Then throw a used TFS street heat on it for $250-300.

What I mentioned above should be good for 35-40 rwhp to your combo, and, w/ the upgraded valve spring kit, your sitting pretty to add a cam like the TFS stage 1 or similar.

how is that combo compared to the TFS H/C/I kit or the Holley H/C/I kit?
and who has the best H/C/I kit? i know summit racing has the 2 listed above.

The BBK SSI Intake manifold would be a great addition to what you have, and it's the next logical step in building your motor. After that, you can do heads and a cam and not have any restrictions in your intake. I have one in stock for sale ready to ship out. Visually tt's definitely the most intimidating intake manifold out there, and it's replacing the venerable GT-40 Tubular manifold as the best all around manifold available for street 'stangs.

BBK SSI Intake Manifold, $564.99

They'll work together, but if you want high-performance the GT-40Ps are not the way to go. Also, you will be very limited with a stock manifold if you do that.
