Default Steering squeek

Well whenever I turn right (NOT LEFT) it sounds like a small CREEEEEEAK only when I turn right. I took it into the shop and this idiot told me its nothing to worry about its just plastic touching metal and it might go away. Is there anything I can do to make it stop? Thanks

my car was doin the same thing. When I put it on the lift I noticed one of the hanger mounts on my h pipe was broke off. It was causing the h pipe to vibrate on the cross member. I just pried the pipe over and welded in a new mount.

it is also possible your inner or outer tie rod ends are going bad.

does your steering wander sometimes?

could be all of that AND a rack squeek from your rack boots, could be a strut issue...but it is probably nothin to worry about. if you want to get rid of it get a spray can of grease or silicon and spray your bushings down.

Yea, sorry for the hijack but why the hell are new ford pumps sooooooooo loud. You can barely hear youself talk over them for the first 500 miles or something like that.... is it just part of thier break in period or something?
