Dont know if its your problem or not but jack you car up and move the tire side to side. If it moves then the inner tie-rod is shot. Also try up and down if it moves a lot then your ball joints are shot. We had an inner go bad and it caused all kinds of problems. replaced it in about 15 minutes and it was good to go (after the alignment though).
