Default Anyone got some answers

I have a 1994 stang GT. I was driving in a rain storm on my way home, when i turned a cornter and hit a water puddle. My cold air in take is siting really low. She sucked up some water so i changed oil a couple times and started her up.; She was knocking, so i took off each sparkplug wire one at a time and fired her. and still the same problem. Some people told me the rods are bent, anyone got some ideas?? and if so where can i get a new 5.0 crater motor??

To et enought water in the cylenders to cause a form of hydrolock you filter would need to be fully sumerged.

when it knocks does the car start shaking really bad? if not your rods are fine. also, bent rods usually put holes in engine blocks. so if you dont have a enormous puddle of oil in your drive way i doubt your rods are bent. describe the knock a little better. where do you hear it from?

No it does not shake really bad It sounds like it is comeing from the middle of the engine, and if i put my hand on the valve covers, i can feel it stronger on the passenger side.
