make sure you check the floors, if there is any part that is even a little bit soft dont even think about buying it, if thers a hole the size of a penny i wouldnt buy it. directly behind the middle of the tire there is a flat spot in the frame, mustangs always rot there on both sides make sure you check it, and look under the hood and look at the frame on both sides. good luck man, and ya 4500 sounds very high. good luck

 

convertible parts are very expensive, make sure the top is in great condition (raises and lowers properly, etc). the rear window motors are kinda expensive too, might wanna check those.
