Ok, I am trying to buy a mustang from a guy in town tommorrow.I know very little about mustangs.The car is a 1992 red 5.0 Lx convertible.It has 120k miles on it.The guy is asking 4900.I told him I want to look at it and might offer 4500.So, is this a reasonable price? What should I look for when driving,or just looking at the car in general.Please hurry with advice because I am going there tommorrow evening.Thanks and god bless

I havn't seen the car yet,I'm expecting good condition all the way around the way he talks,but you never know

Yea I think he said he has owned it since 93,and it needed something done to the material on the roof....I thought 4900 sounded high

Ok, thanks guys what I am really after is a 89 vert maybe 80 k miles for this I should pay what? 4k? and a coupe maybe 3500? thanks for the input I need it

it depends on the condition and what your plans are. If you're going to mod it, find one w/ some mods already on it and it will save you some work and money on parts. Paint and body are also very important. I wouldn't pay over 4 large for ANY fox, but that's just me.
