you can never have too big of a Mass Air Meter, ....... TB yes, MAF big as you want

It's just telling computer how much air is coming in and a bigger
one will just give you a freer breathing intake system

You'll need 55lbs injectors too, ( wierd size )

the throttle body will take care of that., MAF as nothing to do with intake velocity, that starts at the TB really.

um, so a restrictive airbox means nothing? and bad bends in the inlet tube? Velocity starts at my K&N

Don't you want it to start at your TB and have as little restriction as possible up to that point?

If not, why get a high flow air filter or big MAF at all? if your engine has to work to suck
the air in to the point at which it opens to the world ( the TB ) you're losing horsepower.

what a about a carb since it doesnt have all that "intake restriction for velocity"
it wouldnt have as much torue response, but they do. Intake velocity should only matter from the
throttle body on, imo.

Look at an 83-85 5.0 Mustang's air filter housing....the snorkles create vilocity

the maf is calibrated for 55lbs injectors which means you cant use it as is. youd have to either buy 55# injectors which are way to big for your car, or get the maf recalibrated to the injectors your using
