Default Did a few Mods...now a few questions...

Ok this weekend i put on power stop rotors and hawk pads...WOW do these things stop i can beleive the change in my car...pretty dramatic. No i want to know if i can install a brake proportioning valve and how and where do i install it?? Also i put my MaF and K&N in the fenderwell pointing vertical to the ground. I used 3inch dryer duct but it looks like crap. Id like to use 3 inch pvc with sum straight pvc and 2 90's painted the same color green as my car. I already have the paint. I guess just sand it down a little. Has any1 done this with pvc are there any adverse or bad effects.. The car runs better and cooler with this setup but i hate the look..Thanks a lot

Someone said a while back that the PVC will give off bad gasses when it's heated. As for the proportioning valve just put it in place of the stock one, it's close to the master cylinder. Just follow the lines and you'll find it. You'll probably have to do some work with the brake lines though since it's not gonna be a direct replacement for the one that's on there now.

you can adjust the stock one but not sure how much adjustment is available. btw, the brake fittings on a Stang are metric, so be careful what you buy if you decide to install a new one or you'll have adapter fittings are all the place. why don't you put the CAI into the fenderwell using the aluminum flex and then paint the flex to match? the aluminum is a lot lighter than the PVC and easier to work with too.

PVC pipe WILL release chlorine gas when heated. Very toxic.

Stick to ABS.

I will definately buy that kit. I just want to know that it wont upset my C&L mass air sensor and that the piping will work with my 76mm inlet pipe. I only think i would have to cut the small curved section straight or even just use the 90 degree bend and filter. I just dont want to mess with my sensor. THanks a lot
