Default cobra brake conversion

okay, i just bought the ford racing cobra front brake conversion for my 95 gt. the guy at 5.0 resto said i need to buy the cobra master cylinder or the brake pedal is going to be really stiff. does anyone know anything about this. can i get around buying the master cylinder or should i just bite the bullet and get one. sucks cause i just replaced my old one two months ago

not sure...i would like to know too though because i plan on upgrading to cobra brakes as well.
