Default Messed up headers?

Alrighty, well I changed my header gaskey a month or so back because some of the exaust manifold bolts got loose. Now that I look at them agian they are loose agian (Specificly the send from the back and the one my dip stick is connected to). I was talking to someone about this, and he said his car was doing the same thing untill he rubuilt the engin... hopefuly its not that serious. I was tyhinkning this could be a problem withe the headers, I have been wanting to get some mac headers anyways so I will find out in a couple of weeks, but just trying to get some of your two cents... Oh, btw, I have a 1989 GT, stock headers, off road h pipe and flow masters if any of that info would help..

Default RE: Messed up headers?

Are you doing the proper torque sequences?

You have to put them on torque them down.Get them hot after a drive and retorque them.

I use antiseize on mine and none have ever backed out.
