I'm still stuck with my stupid crappy stock intake, but I have twisted wedge heads and a trick flow cam with 221*/225*@.050 and .499/.510 and I like the combo quite a bit. I definately recommend it.

trickflow is a good company from what I 've heard, although I have no experience with their stuff.

I like my AFR heads though, I went from a 14.7 quarter mile to a 13.2 on motor.
but the 14.7 was on a tired motor with a broken piston ring.
the 13.2 was on my new motor.

my nitrous times went from a 13.2 (old motor) to a 12.3 (new motor)
I see it as you get what you pay for.

I am running the tfs trackheat intake and it's great! I have seen some wicked street cars with that same setup you were asking about. My friend had his twisted wedge heads worked on by Fox Lake and had a stage 2 tfs cam and he got thrown off the track his first run cause he didnt have a cage. Or so he says! He also has high dollar suspension and slicks!

I got the tfs street heads stage one cam and 1.7rr's with a gt-40 intake, it sounds like a beast and has a serious pick-up at about 2500+ I suggest you get all new injectors and make sure your pistons will clear if you do. I bought the probe pistons that are specifically designed for the heads and all that, but they weren't that cheap. All in all, I love it, I don't have track times yet because of cruddy weather, but i'll get back to you when I do, I ran 14.35 on my old motor (213k mi.)
