you have the nitrous on before you even let you the clutch? i thought that was a no no. thats what i meant, that intial "pop" is whats gonna bring them up then weither you keep them up is gonna be based on how much power you have.

i aggree slicks and good suspension and clutch will prolly pull an almost stock cars front tires up. there was a guy running at our local street drags(front straight of the local 5/8th short track) and with slicks he could just barely lift them on a 4.6 with nitrous, but your not gonna launch with nitrous anyways, and a trick suspension.

My Mustang II in my sig has a couple of pics where you can almost see light under the tires but thats with some S#&ty Napa shocks that was on it i put koni drags but aint run it yet it has ladder bars 32x14 slicks and 5.38's

well a more intellegent answer would be to make a form behind the rear axle centerline and then pour concrete in there rather than cinder blocks which are are mostly open air pockets:-P
