Advice on Header swap
I just bought some BBK headers. I have a leak around the flange on the passenger side on my fatcory headers and Im thinking it may be due to the catalytic converter being clogged. While I am swaping them out I'd like to clean them. Does anyone know if this possible and if so how?

I got a jiggy inspection so I dont know. Im only assuming its clogged. So your saying there is no way to clean them? I was thinking about pooring some seafoam down there?

Nah, I don't think you'll want to do that!
They are consumables, like brakes and tires...after a while, they'll have to be replaced. I'd have to see what your emissions test says to determine if they're bad...
You don't hear a rattle at idle, do you?

^^^you'll hear the honeycomb stuff rattling around in there if it's broken off, but not necessarily if it's clogged. You can buy Magnaflow hi-flo cats on ebay for $55 each shipped. Then just have a muffler shop weld them in for you. I paid around $30 each for the install.

no rattle.
there is a leak on the driver side and I just figured it might be clogged. The leak is probaly cause of the flange, also the engine mounts are shot and causing the engine to sag. It could be that. Im replacing everyhting tjhis weekend. So we will see.
