For my money, and the argument could go on forever, the Flowmaster is my favorite. They were the first company to use a dyno to help with the design and flow characteristics. Since I live on a dirt road, I wasn't expecting much, but they've lasted over seven years and still look and sound good. And you can pick and choose how much noise you want, or which ones offer the best performance.

You can buy flowmasters if you wnna sound like every other mustang on the planet. I run hooker max flows and wouldnt run anything else. I even have them on my 69 bronco. Check out cut away of the inside compared to a flow master and you will see why they sound better and perform better.

Get a back issue of 5.0 Mustangs and SuperFords. December of '02 -- they tested 15 different Mufflers, dyno'd, sound at idle and sound at WOT (wide open throttle) in decibels. - Pro's, con's ... it's a great article. --- If you can't get it, let me know, I'll make some copies for you and send/fax them to you.</P>
