I know it's not tech, but I am excited about this. I walked away for $2800 w/: billsteins, c/c plates, primered, stereo, 5-lug, 13" cobra discs up front, and more. I need to know what color I should paint it. It is really between three choices: Black, White, and Silver w/ black mouldings (like Beachy's hatch). I am gonna probably talk to my buddy who paints and see when and how we are gonna do this. Also another question, anyone know where to go to find out how to replace the heater core, I know I have to tear out the dash, but anyone know if there is a tech article or diagram? Man so anxious for sun to come up so I can start wrench'n and clean it up.

so u got it eh? very nice choice. i still say go black, i don't know what it is with black notches, but man are they sexy. you came out lucky, you got 5 lug, cobra disk brakes, and all that, thats over what you bought the whole car for. how many miles does it have on it?

thats not that bad at all for that price. man there must be somethin bad about that car for that guy to make it that cheap. maybe post ur vin up and see if somebody could run a carfax on it.

Sure will, nah man... I know I sound kinda of dumb, but this guy pretty much holds his words. Had a good reason needed a truck and just bought a lighning. He knew his ****, and did his own work: he swapped the tranny, installed the shocks, everything. He live 5 mins aways from me, and I know who to go to. Sounds too good, but it is true man (hope). I could easily part this beast for how much I bought it for. Tomorrow I'll get the vin, if it does show up bad, don't tell me. Even came with 140 gauges on it, its an 87... Also he says the speedo is wrong, unfortunately it has 2:73 from when it was an AOD... He said the tranny came out of a 3:55 stang. How do I go about swapping in a new speedo gear. Doing 60 on the tach means 80 real.

hey man thats tight that you got a notch. i would have to say that i like black for a notch. and i am thinking about getting my moldings color matched to the body if they can do it once i get the money saved up
