Default 5.0 problemss

hey gang i'm back in the 5.0 world i recently got a 86 capri (insert joke here!)
it has a motor out of a 94 cobra and was at some point converted to mass air with a motorsport kit
sine i didn't convert it i appears to me the job wasn't done
the car runs and drives but around 3500 rpms and avobe it falls flat underload i was checking around and found the egr not connected but i also don't see a egr solenoid? any ideas about wehe that should be and also about it falling flat it also has 70mm tb bbk afpr headers
also it seems that if i unplug mas ther is no change
please help !!!!!!!!!!!

Mine smells rich too (my gt), thinking the same thing the EVP is dead instead of missing directly making my gas mileage on street less then 10. Are you getting poor mileage?

it dosen't have a cel
do you think the mas would make it fall flat?
also at idle it seems to surge somewhat
