hey every one, I have a 1988 LXcoupe that started life as a 4 banger, i now have a rebuilt 5.0 5spd with mild mods, i got the motor tranny and everything else bolted up but the fuel system, i was going carb but got a complete cheap fuel injection off a 1991 Ford f-150 5.0 5spd speed density, my question is how many people do this swap, is it worth it or should i just find the mustang EFI?, how do you wire the f-150 main harness into the mustang hanrness? is there any site that provides a wiring diagram for a ford truck?, i would really like to use the truck intake because the sqaure ports and the height of it, any tips on this swap would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

you can still use the truck intake.

i have never heard of anyone using the truck efi though....

...although you could use the injectors and stuff.

you can use the lower intake...as the flow well you caN use an edelbrock upper

The lower truck intake is a good piece, its the same as the Holly systemax II, I have the same lower, but I have the Holly upper. For the wiring harness, I would try to get a complete one from a salavaged 5 liter mustang. I wouldnt waste my time with the upper truck intake.
