mass air question

Default mass air question

hey was wondering if there was a quick test to tell if the maf is bad the old girl fall flat on her face and has no power around 3500 rpms and above
i unplug the maf connector and nothing changes at all
any ideas

your cel will come on...and you should here the motor drop off.

no cel bbk 170 speedo but it sound like it drops off at 3500 but when i disconnect it no change at all

sounds like coil. to me....your check engine light should of came on.

it dosen't feel like a miss like slow underload it has a msd blaster coil

that's not a sure way of knowing...a coil can drop off at a certain load.
