big blocks are more weight

chevelle SS 454 ran what high 12s/13s?

u could get a 302 in the 12s with a head swap

i dont think shifter wants to accept that technology is out performing the old. its cool hes into big blocks but he is overly bias with his opinions..

u get more torque out of the box with a big block dosnt mean a small block cant catch up though.

I agree with everything you said...

But comparing a 454 Chevelle to a Fox body is like comparing Calista Flockhart to Oprah Winfrey. They are just way too different in weight to even think about honestly comparing in any aspect of life.

But yes, you are right with the Technology statement.

Oh I didnt know this thread was a daily driver, 20mpg requirement. 12's are fun for about 1 week till you got tossed aside like a rag doll by a supra or a camaro.

shifter im not doubting your knowledge infact ive learned quite a lot just from reading ur posts but ive also caught on that u are a big block fan and tend to try to "convince" people they are superior to anything out there.

i'd still like to see u answer my question with a source or link backing up your claim. ya this is the internet but with all cars the driver mod is most important.

theres no replacement for displacement simply put, if you have problems on your big block build its your own fault

my dad had a 460 in his foxbody, very reliable also

now this is obviously retarded comparison but ;D les see your 302 beat this mega block 1,556,002 cubic inch diesel!!
http://www.bath.ac.uk/~ccsshb/12cyl/ i just like showing that page off heh
