Can anybody tell me what the difference is between a clotch interior and the cloth/vinyl interior is?

Guess your car is the same as ours. Bright red. Its also the same color as Vermillion red. My brothers 01 Focus is the same color.

i am going to guess on the interior, and about 75% certain on it.

1 should be the "tweed" like a GT , or the premium interior for an lx.

the standard cloth was thin, and kind of more like a thin velour. i had 2 notches like that. but my gt was all cloth i thought, including the door panels, my '93 notch w/ the tweed seats has vinyl door panels.

Thats what ours is. Its got the GT/sport seats in it and everything else is plastic or vinyl. Just the front of the seat is cloth.

By any chance do you know how many Bright red 50 LX Hatchbacks came with the 3.08 gear? I looked at ours and it said 08 and the tag.

The color is know to many as Bright Red, Ford calls it Vermillion.

Does it look red during the day and orange at night? Thats what color my car is and I dont know what its called either. I got rear ended a few months ago and had to repaint my rear bumper and the body shop couldnt figure out what color it was called either they had to mix a custom color. It may not be factory but its a good paint job, because all of the jams, under the hood, and trunk are all the same color even under the interior.
