i run two fans...a pusher, and a puller....i use a radio shack relay.run one hot wire(which ever way you want the fan to turn) to relay then run source wire from relay with an inline fuse to a toggle switch/or key on wire(stay away from heater control wires.....

why don't you test it off your battery then you'll know if it's good or not?

Ok, sorry about all this.
I just need to get all of this straight.
I need a fuse, and a relay. I take one of the wires, ground it to the frame and then run it to a fuse in the radio?
Then I take the next wire, ground it to the engine block and then put that in a relay with an on off switch?

I know jegs carries a relay specifically for an aftermarket electric fan. Not sure if the auto parts store has these in stock.

here I went directly off of this article:

http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2...cfan/index.php

The fan controller I purchased at Advanced for like $50. It comes with a temperture probe and a 30 amp relay. This is all you need unless your using a Taurus or Mark IV fan then you will need a 75 amp rated relay. If you need one of those let me know.

I hooked the ground wire for the relay to my switch on my second fan.
I dont like running hot wires through the firewall if I dont have to.
