Well, you can check out ebay for a 351W block. If you do not want to deal w/ Ebay and want to buy direct search the local junkards and search forums... I dont know what its like near you but 351W's are almost a dime a dozen around here in NJ.
I'm in maryland so I'm not too far off . I'd be willing to drive to NJ for 351w deal.

I'll start the search once I have a stang. Hoping to make a down payment on this '92 GT this weekend if the car is decent. I WILL have one before the end of the summer.

dont rush man, wait and find THE stang for you. you'll know when it feels right, but dont buy on impulse. It would suck to get screwed over. And I might be coming down to New Jersey to visit you Blue and pick up a block, lol.

I may consider it. I still need to get a stang first [:@].

I've been looking on the 'net for a used 351W, no luck finding them. All of the ones on ebay are $4,000 built ones.

Going to look at this 92 GT this weekend and test drive it. Going to give $1,000 down till I can sell my pontiac and pay for the rest.

If you are interested in the block lemme know..... well talk!

Also, I know its hard to wait for cars. Actually both of my mustangs I baught were the first ones I went and looked at. The 88 didnt turn out too well but the 93 looked good. I just seen it, it caught my eye, drove down to maryland and snatched it up!

well hopefully this 92 will live up to it!

How much will I be looking to pay for a 351W block? Preferably a whole engine I could rebuilt.

The lower intake will not fit.

Also, it depends on where you are at and how available they are in your area. Put it this way, I was going to get a 351W running motor from a bronco w/ the tranny (which I didnt want but anyway) for $450 and they were going to pull it for me on top if it.

So if you went online I would guess you would get a 351W block for $100-150. Actually, there is someone on here selling a 351W. Pre 74 too.... REALLLLLLLY good block. And they are selling it for a hundred bucks.
