not sure if your tfi module is old, but i suggest replacing it. mine was brittle and breaking into pieces. for 20 something bucks, its an easy fix and may remedy some problems

Hum.....
did not check the TPS voltage

and cold or hot it runs perfect idle

just starts to hesitate over 2500rpm till 5000rpm

sometime it runs perfec but like only 10 seconds

Jack up front and rear license plates, remove car, insert new 5.0, problem solved.

Yeah mine kinda hesitate's sometimes, idk.. what it is, it'll hesitate then it will come in real strong and run fine, so idk i'm thinking i need a new fuel pump or my vaccum hose is acting up..

new fuel pump and vacum

from gas tank to front and all wiring cap rotor all is new

Think I have the same thing, when I went to take it beyond 3,200 or so it feels like I drop the clutch in and it isn't catching, it is the engine because it kind of kicks down. I am pretty sures our is similar problem. Mine is also an 87.

that is super cheap, the only place I could get one is from ford and that bugger was $180
now I just yank them from the junkyard.

Mine dont feel like I am dropping the clutch
from 2500rpm to whatever

it just has a miss sound and is not pulling at its full potential

it never did this the first 2 days I had it.

dont know whats wrong now

Went to a friends house
same stang as me

we change EGR valve and his trottle body

still had the same problem

then we chanegd the coils
still same problem
