So I was running my car (87LXnotch) a little above normal, no redlining. When I went to get some good acceleration it seemed like when I hit 3,200 or so it would kind of cut out (lose power) now then gain again. I am sure it is not the clutch it is like some fuel or engine problem. I am going to try it out some more later today, but it seems like I am shifting hard, but this is with the clutch all the way out and in 1st gear.
