so i started working on my stang i just installed some new upper and lower control arms and i saw my shocks where starting to leak. i was wondering if i was to install a coil over system for a 5.0 in to my 4 cyl stang would i have any probs? i know the ride will be a little hard but other then that any other probs?

 

You shouldn't have any problem. The only thing different about the 4cyl struts is they mount differently too the spindle the 5.0 struts do. The coil over kit should go on your struts no problem though.

 

Are you referring to the front or rear of the car?

 

both. i want to do a full coil over system. now the probs i would have in the fronts would getting the spindels from a 94/95 mustang fix it?

Not to jump off topic, but what kind of upper and lower control arms did you buy? And from where? How much of a difference did you notice in launching / gripping?

I ask b/c I want to do the same thing for my next mod

 

i got some cheap jeg's brand ones. i have not had a chance to try them out yet tho. the car is still on jackstands. i have to stocks/struts, spindels and other parts off. i am trying to still new fender wells and get the body work done while i am waiting for $ and parts to come in.
