I think you can get coil-overs for the spindles you have now.
The only reason to change them would be if you wanted to go 5 lug. Kept my '84 as a 4 lug. 5 Lug set-ups are heavier which was a concern of mine as it's a drag car.
I don't really see a problem at the rear at all.
I would have gotten all the suspension parts from one supplier and I'm not really a friend of Jeg's, I've have too many problems with them over the years.
I've been a Summit customer since the late '70's........

thanks guys. i want to convert over to 5 lug at some time. i think i may just start the 5 lug convert. the rims i have will work for 4 or 5 lug setups ( i love centerline rims)
