Automatics aren't faster they just give you consistant times.

ORIGINAL: Bad Karma

'91 Notch is a M5
'02 SS was a M6
'01 SS was an A4
'95 Z28 was A4

The A4's in the Z's were superfast and were way faster than my M6 car.

But I liked driving the Manuals WAY better.

That's what they are made for!,

I guess what I meant was that there was no way in hell that I could get my car to go through the gears that fast in my Manual. And, even though they are more consistent yes, there is no way in hell that you could even begine to shift that fast in any 4th Gen FBody with the weak *** Syncros from 2nd to 3rd in the 6 Speed cars.

I prolly spent as much money rebuilding trannies as I did on Bolt ons for ALL of the other cars.

That's part of why I don't own one anymore.

Sorry for the confusion,
Ivan

In my racer I use a C-4 with a manual valve body....
If I ever get real rich, I'd like to try a Doug Nash 4+1.........

I have a MT and prefer it where I live... if it's traffic then I hate the the MT... aod is much nicer for normal everyday driving, although I will never give my stick up for an auto doesnt matter how bad traffic is

I like having manuals in the "toys" but for DD auto is fine. Makes it a lot easier in the morning and after a long boring day of school.
