I drive an AOD. But what I prefer is a 5spd for nice a nice weekend car and an AOD for a DD (I cant stand driving a 5spd at 7:30 in the morning lol). Also, a automatic w/ a manual valve body or something in that category is top of the line for me.... best of both worlds!

Stangs a 5spd (wish it was 6), and my ranger (5.0) has an AOD. I absolutly HATE the AOD, everytime I drive my truck I just wanna rip out that AOD and smash it with my 20lb. sledge.

'91 Notch is a M5
'02 SS was a M6
'01 SS was an A4
'95 Z28 was A4

The A4's in the Z's were superfast and were way faster than my M6 car.

But I liked driving the Manuals WAY better.

That's what they are made for!,
