Default New Stuff! Advice Needed........

I picked up these goodies today. (GT40P from a 97 Explorer) Im going to have a valve job done on the heads and maybe the exhaust ported a little. I was advised I should install a new cam. Which one should I go with? Also can I install one myself, while Im doing the heads? Any advice will be appreciated.

for the cam, i say the Trick Flow Stage 1..the e cam is nice, but the TFS1 is even better..i've heard a cam swap is tricky, but everyones gotta learn at some point i guess..id do it with an experienced person though..

yea I'll probaly have someone install it hear at my house before I install the heads just to be safe. Ive heard of people nicking bearings while installing cams.

What will new roller rockers do for them?

I wouldnt pay more than $200 for the heads. The GT 40P's produce a little more HP but there is some clearence issues with the spark plugs and the headers.
