It does sounds a little steep for the year and miles.

I have an 86 and love it. I paid $6500 and the car looked exactly like it does in the pic below, it was basically completely stoc and had 63,000 original miles on it.

4bbl Holley carb

Factory Headers (of course aftermarkets are better)

True duals (is that true?)

Alot of people loved their 85 HO. Many people say its very fast and responsive

Basically, if the 85 HO never happened, the mustang would probably not exist today.

i just bought a '86 gt hatchback. i got mine for 3200. The car is rust free. the motor is a 68 302 block. It's bored .40 over with flat top pistons that are custom cut for valve clearence. Has 351 heads with 2.02"/1.60" stainless valves,ARP studs and guide plates,Comp push rods, springs, retainers,Cam,And polished lifters and gear drive timing. it has BBK 2.5" H-pipe,BBK chrome shorty headers,Flow master 2.5" exhaust system,BBK manifold spacer,BBK underdrive aluminum pulleys,March aluminum power steering pulley,Centerfrcoe dual friction clutch, subframe connectors and 5lug conversion rotors. maybe check for a better deal?

hey what kind of numbers are you putting out as far as rwhp and time slips

no duals, no 3rd brakelight, the 85 started the craze

I'm not quite sure for either. I'm not 16 until august. In august I'll be bringing the car to the drag strip to race. If you want i can tell ya then. Same goes for the horsepower. I plan on having a dyno session sometime but not yet
