hey i gotta nother ?....when stuff says its for the 5.0 and than it says 87 to 93 or whatever, whats stopping it from working with the 94 or 95?!?!

i hate it cause it seems there is alot more for the 87-93



also your rpms arnt realted to the speedo in any way correct?? as in my speedo is off but my tach sould still be right?

no the tach gets the signal from the ignition dist. has nothing to do with the speedo

as for the other question ive often wondered the same.

Some stuff is the same. But the different body style and suspension changes make that why. Like I said, there is still quite a bit that will interchange.

Yea Goose I have a 95 and wondered wtf?? They can't be that specific or Ford would not have made any $$$. It would be interesting to see what fits and what does not......They say the HP is down on those 94-95 cars but I heard they measured them different? No doubt the body is different but the 5.0???

yeah they changed how they rated the HP after some year. Also it just doesnt make sence ot me ocnsidering gt40p heads owrk on any 5.0 why wouldat all 5.0 heads and intakes be interchangable?!?!

im assuming almost all the engine parts will interchange.
intakes need special spacers and things like that but any 5.0 intake will work on a sn95 5.0
same with heads.

a 5.0 is a 5.0

the 94-95's had a different computer so you might have some issues there.
but where theres a will theres a way and you can get the engine mods to work.

yeah i wish i could swap over to a carb and be doe wiht it but i just dont got that kinda $$$. (to eliminate the ****ty comp))

also is there anything us sn95 owers can do about the ****ty comps??? from what i hear they really limit the potentiol of bolt ons..

i really dont know, im not too sure on the spcific difference and what a swap would involve.

i doubt its a good idea becaus eno one does it lol.

i would imagine your stock computer would just require a tune after your mods and youd be set to go.
