I know this has been brought up many times but What are Advantages and disadvantages of getting a egr delete kit?

There are no advantages, you will only gain less crap under the hood. You will make more issues for yourself trying to get your car to run right. It will run hotter, have a chance for detonation, and your NOX gasses will shoot way up. Leave it on, unless you want to learn the hard way. Do a google search on what the egr does, it will change your mind. It wont give you any performance gains either. JMO

it does reduce you air intake temp since you intake manifold doesnt get as hot
but it would be a pretty small increase.

+1 on just leaving it alone. especially if it's a street car.

You would have to plug the egr ports in the heads or lower intake or the intake will still get warm cus exhaust gasses will still go up there. I was amazed by how warm mine got after I took my egr off.
