EGR questions

RE: EGR questions
There are no advantages, you will only gain less crap under the hood. You will make more issues for yourself trying to get your car to run right. It will run hotter, have a chance for detonation, and your NOX gasses will shoot way up. Leave it on, unless you want to learn the hard way. Do a google search on what the egr does, it will change your mind. It wont give you any performance gains either. JMO

ORIGINAL: r.barn
it does reduce you air intake temp since you intake manifold doesnt get as hot
but it would be a pretty small increase.
+1 on just leaving it alone. especially if it's a street car.
