Default Battery dying.....plz help

Could it be that the stock alternator isnt strong enough with my underdrive pullies an 1200 watt audio system? If so would a 100 amp alt. do the trick?

well do you know what the volts were at??? basicly waht a capaciter will do is store any excess power that your system is gunna draw when it hits, that way its takes less strain off the rest of your electrical system.

if it turn out that your volts are ok you prolly need a stronger amp, your alternator pully is slowing this one down so its not charging as much

11 volts is a pretty much a dead battery. 14.5-14.7V(when running) is what you should see, though 13-15 is acceptable.
