weiand..or a parker intake with a 600cfm truck avenger carb

this what i came up so far(meat, and potatoes)

i need the carb guy's to chime in so i can get this straightened out

thats all the 400 is good for is torque below 4000, get the piston either at 0 or damn near 0 deck, thats the first issue with those motors. 650 carb. Good head choice

ya being nothing more than a tall deck cleveland, they have serious quench problems with the piston so far in the hole, get it close to the deck and it will pull. Try the 600 by all means, might run a tad lean

well try to fatten it but its gonna run out of air, the heads are good to 500 max, they dont support anymore than that, they are the best choice for you

99% of people here are unfamiliar with the 2vcc aussie head. I can hear the uneducated remarks now, they will look at flow numbers and form an opinion right there, not factoring in how much better a canted valve head is as compared to the typical inline windsor heads

351w's are ok,but you have to get the front dress, and i don't think it will bolt up to her tranny...not to mention that 351 will have to work 2x as hard for what the 400 can do in the low end....thanks,but no thanks
