Default A/C Yay or Nay??

So, when i got my car the a/c didnt work. I had it charged and it still wont blow cold. I swear i could hear the stuff just leaking out after it was put in. Anyway, should i just go ahead and take it out or just leave it and not use it?? I would like to have a/c but i dont wanna pay someone to figure out whats wrong and i dont wanna funk with it. Are there any advantages to taking it out as opposed to leaving it in even though it doesnt work?? Sorry , long post. Hopefully i can make a decision though.

I'd go on ahead and get it fixed. I'm gonna take mine in this week for a recharge. I'm not psychic, but I have a strong feeling that mine is going to leak just like yours did. If I were you, and I had the money, I'd get that junk fixed.

Thanks Steven. I have no idea whether it leaks or not. I just assume that if I go into the shop with only $200 to my name, it will be a $600 affair to get the air working.
