this is a big state you know

wyoming county you can get classic title on it, not need any emissions or exhaust, but can only drive 3000 miles a year, there are a few places that wil inspect you without cats with a normal title, i know a few people around here with no exhausts at all, my buddies camaro is busted at the y pipe, been that way 3 years now

I live outside of Philly and have a mechanic buddy, but I still needed to have the cats on to pass emissions and then he toojk them off and put on an x-pipe. I'm fine because I put 2,000 or less miles a year on my car, so I'm exempt from emissions testing, which you have to pass if you put over 5,000 miles a year on your car. You can't get classic tags because the car iosn't old enough. It's 25 years or older for classic tags. You'd also need to pass the visual test, so you'd need all your smog pump and such for that.

Basically unless you know someone who will throw a sticker on it, you'll need cats, at least for your first inspection.

yeah you can always just take the cats on and off for inspections, should take no more than 1 hour
once a year.
