Need help trying to remove air silencer
Ok finally removing the air silencer.
First: the two bolts holding the airbox inplace wont come out.
just spins the bolt and nut together. Have applied penetrating fluid.
Nothing ...... any ideas? no way to get back side that i can see.
2nd: the actual air silencer tube seems glued in there
or something, is there some trick to getting it out.

once you unbolt the air box and get it out of the way, the air silencer is bolted to the fender behind it.
as far as getting the airbox out, those are rubber mounts with studs attached, maybe the rubber is shot and thats why they are turning, or the back side up in the inner fender area is loose.

only place to get em?
dealer can get em, discontinued but they found a dealer couple hundred miles away
that has 2 in stock still. $22 each [&:]
