Ok, so this isn't his car, it's mine, but this is how it sounds when the stock exhaust is cut just before the mufflers (the rest is still there, clearly, but it's not going though it). If straight pipes sound kinda like this then I think it's cool too, but a little loud for my tastes. At low speeds though, when accelerating, yeah it sounds like a truck or tractor heh, which I don't like.
I realize this is really pointless as a video, but it's what I had.

My brother used to cut the exhaust on his cars back when he was in high school, the loudest was his '73 Ventura with a 350 lol. Sounded like a monster truck! Waaayy too loud.

Yea,kinda sounds like that,but doesnt backfire as much...its my prefrence i guess,when i accelerate,i want to sound like im in a 5.0 not a 4.6 LOL!!!

i ran 2 1/2 out back and was louder then a virgen on prom night,and i loved it had more power.... but i moved to a quiet neighborhood and put warloks on it..u c
an uncap them and gain power on track,them cap bak up and sound quieter..

i was running open headers for a while in my car haha that was great loudest thing i have ever heard and i didnt have my center console i could see the trans and the road so when i drove at light i have a blue light flash everytime i shifted or let off the car (flames) it was great till i almost got pulled over

our 1986 monte carlo ss had a gutted cat and straight pipes on it.... sounded ok, at idle it sucked but when you revved it sounded like a Baja Boat with a small block and thru hull exhaust.... it was kidna cool but my dad put flows on it cus hes a party pooper
