I'm prolly gonna be going with the trick flow track heat intake as well...I want the black manifold....since I already have the black trick flow valve covers.

make sure the rest of your combo matches or you're just wasting money.

So what else do I need to get to install and dismantle the intake. As in to remove fuel rails and injectors ..etc. Do I need new o-rings for injectors or anything for fuel rail? Just don't want to be in middle of install and realize I need special tool or new o-rings. Also is it better to install injectors and fuel rail on new intake before I put in engine?

Thanks in advance.

I belive you will need a fuel line disconnector. You can get a Ford one at Autozone. You can reuse the old o-rings just put a little oil on them when you go to reinstall.

You can reuse them, but why? O-rings are cheap. Do it right, do it once.

I just got the go ahead from wife (the boss) to order upper and lower intake. I am going with Trick flow street heat upper and lower from all the good reviews, I originally was going to go with the Cobra until I joined this forum and read all the positive feedback on this product. It's going on a basically stock engine. So I was thinking a 65mm T/B, does that sound right?

Thanks..
Put your pants back on son!! WTF!! [:@]

Oh and one other thing. Becareful when you are taking out the corner intake bolts on the lower that run into the coolant passages, they have a tendency to break!!

I just got done re-installing the TF track heat upper and lower intake this weekend as the previous owner didn't do a good job with the front and rear lower manifold seals. He opted to skip the rubber jobbies and just use silicone. The silicone broke loose and the car was leaking oil like it was its job. I didn't disconnect the fuel rails, rather I just WD-40s the injectors for a few minutes and they popped right out and slid over the side. I was able to do this as the rail brack down by the passanger head was disconnected. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll help you out.
