Default Suggest a Clutch

I'm gettin heads and a cam soon, and a Kenne bell in the near future and I need a clutch to handle the torque. I dont want the clutch pedal to be too heavy, and i want absolutely no "chatter." What clutches hold a good amount of power that you guys have had some luck with? Price isnt too important as long as its reasonable, I'd rather get something good. I was thinking a King Cobra, but will it handle that power?

the KC wont handle the power, but your limited on clutches because you dont want a stiff pedal and no chatter

Spec 2 Plus is my vote.

Get the Stage 2+, its alot more streetable then the Regular Stage 2.

No chatter at all.

SPEC gets my vote. They can hold the power and high RPM shifts way better than a Centerforce DF. I have been through a few CFs in both the LX and my GT, never had any problems with any of the SPEC clutches in either.

Just remember, when you put the KB on there, and are making considerably more power, the clutch will be the weak link in the drive train. If you upgrade it to something heavy duty, it will then be your T45 that is taking the big power bitch smack from the motor. Just something to keep in mind.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, keep them coming! I dont mind the clutch to be a little heavy, i just dont want anything outrageous. And I have a T5, but I understand what you're sayin, Sanchez. I'm planning on goin to a T56 sometime in the future.
