Default Slicks/Tires

Alright..so I just got my NOS put in...I have 4.10 gears and a little AOD ... I'm gonna be headin to the track very soon (as soon as I can fill my bottle) and see what she can turn. I've kinda been lookin around for slicks/radials and haven't been very successful... my tires right now are 225/60/15 (which are NOT helping w/ traction) Would 27 inch tires be too tall?? like say a 27.5 inches tall by12 inches wide? OR a 27x10x15? would the height be bad? would it make it seem like it bogs down at the beginning?? and do ya'll think 85 bones for a pair of 27x10x15 drag Slicks is a good/bad deal?

sounds like a relatively good deal for a pair of racing slicks. are they new? I have never bought slicks so i dont know for sure but sounds good if they are new.
