ok, im looking to get a 95 gt, and am looking into the price of insurance. so my question is what companys are you guys using? and how much is it a month? im 17, on my own ins. and have 1 speeding ticket (64 in a 55). the cheapest ive seen so far is 319 a month for min. coverage. but damn that seems high. so what are you guys payin??? thanks.

If you're 17 with a speeding ticket and insured under your name then I really feel for ya bro. It is gonna be VERY hard to find insurance cheaper than $300 a month for you on a Mustang GT. Honestly, if you want a Mustang, I'd suggest getting a sixer and waiting awhile on the V8.

what isnt making sense to me is that a friend of mine has full coverage on a 2002 mustang gt, same ins company as i have now (on current car, not a stang) and his is in the 260 a month range. and he as a accident and 2 tickets. thats why i didnt thik for a 11 year old car and only 1 ticket, and min. coverage it would be above 300. but yea, its lookin like i was wrong. and a v6 isnt an option, i mean ill suck it up and pay the 300+ instead of getting one of them ( no offence to any v6 owners, thing is, i have a v6(cougar, gay i know) now, and main reasoning behind getting a nother car is to get a v8)

but watch for the shady cheap *** companies that will fight you till no end if you ever want to make a claim, the cheap ones will come back to haunt you. Either suck it up or sit tight for awhile

Im 18, living in CA. Own a 1990 Mustang GT 5.0 and a 1987 Mustang LX Notch 5.0. Insurance for both for a year = $1100.... For AAA, but minimum coverage and theft on my GT. Sure I ran when I heard my LX would only cost me $73 more dollars a year. No speeding tickets thank god, my speedometer always has me wondering on my LX since I have 2.73s in the back with a 3.55 speedo. So if im doing 25 on the speedo, im doing like 35. I gott be careful.
