why is it that when you sit at a damn light or something some redneck idiot pulls up next to you in his truck and thinks hes faster, so he ****s with you? i've blown the doors off of more trucks than i have cars..it finally go tto the pointwhere i was like, why do i bother?

Eh, don't feel bad...Each to his own..Some places have great cars that are fast. Others have less than stellar cars that are fast. And yet other places have godawful cars but for some reason, those are fast too.

True Story. My neighbor across the street (the one with two sub 7 second Fox cars just bought a brand new Level 2 Roush. He personally tells me the day he buys it.......

"Do you think I'm dumb? I can't take this thing to the track, I'll get my *** handed to me by kids in Hondas. The Altitude isn't good for these cars here and it's great for those Rice Burners. I'd be lucky to get this thing in the 14's."

I offerred to street race him, for a warm up, in my totally commuter B18C5 '86 Prelude. He still declined by telling me that he had nothing to prove, everything to lose.

So moral to the story is, hey, at least those "friends" that you have actually race their rides. Alot of guys would rather not fearing they would lose to an "inferior" car.
