Rear Brake Conversion
Hey, I want to convert my drum brakes in the back of my 92 GT convertable. Can anyone tell me all the pieces I would need and what kinda work im looking at? Or would i be better off buying a kit? If so, who makes a good kit for a good price? Thanks

RE: Rear Brake Conversion
There are other ways of doing it such as an SVO rear end and there's years of the Crown Vic that had rear disks too. The kits are going to be a lot easier though and you know it will fit right.

i would deffinately suggest going with a kit. 700 sounds like a really good price for a conversion kit . No one likes to mix and match parts that arent neccessarily going to work and the guaranteed fit is always good, especially when the inevitable things that go wrong stuff starts happeneing you will never doubt the product, only your own abilities.

RE: Rear Brake Conversion
yea Evergreen is right, why are you in the need to convert to discs?? I know plenty of proffessional Drag Racers that still have rear drum brakes, save your money and buy something for the engine or suspension.
