i dont see why ford didnt make a notch gt in the first place? the 65 cars were could be ordered with the gt in any body style. notch, fastback,vert it looks just as clean as a vert with the gt kit same car just theroof was hacked off by cars by cars but i quess since hatches were the rage in the 80s they had to pick one and not the other i personally think thats why the notch didnt sell as well
