The camaro has 245hp. mustang has 225 who is faster?

The mustang should win but also depends on the condition of both cars and who holds more power at the time of race.If it was a 93 Maro that would be a no brainer. But should be a close race ,it could go ither way.

I would say that if the Mustang driver was a bad *** he would win it, otherwise the Camaro would take it.

This question was brought up in another topic about a week back, most everyone thought the stang would win. Personally I've gone against the camaro you speak of with an 87 gt, totally stock, it was moderately close but my stang won. I agree with Vert, mid 80s to 92 camaros weren't very fast at all, no matter if it was a Z28, RS, whatever...

the 5.7's were decently fast, the 305's were slow as ****, oh yea, and the lower models can be faster than the z28's, ive got a Sport coupe(base model), which wieghs 2882lbps, with no wieght reduction other than fiber glass hood and rear hatch which came stock from the dealer, and it will roast any 305 z28 because of the wieght difference.
