Do yourself a favor and buy a used intake. 1-you'll save $, 2-it's not a part that will wear. You can actually do your whole H/C/I swap w/ used parts and make out pretty cheap, but you've got to be careful when buying used heads....a shop should check them out and possible mill them.

YOu've gotta learn somehow....I'm 29 and just started about 2 years ago...I wish I had learned about cars when I was younger like some of you guys....

Buy a Chilton's and a Haynes (sometimes one describes something better than the other) and you'll be amazed what you can do.

Since your stang is stock, go w/ the street heat. You won't be able to rev high enough to make peak hp w/ the track heat. Also, remove your air silencer, put in a K&N filter, and bump your timing. Those are low cost/free mods that will give you some more horses.

Some mods you should do first:
1--Gears
2--Larger MAF
3--change plugs/wires/cap/rotor/oil/upgrade coil
4--H pipe or Prochamber and cat back exhaust

Those mods will give you another 20-25rwhp.
