I have known of too many Auburn and Auburn Pro differentials to fail or break even on relatively mild cars. My LX had an Auburn Pro in it when I bought and I broke it. Replaced it with an Eaton and broke that in less than a year. You would think for the signifigant money these parts sell for they would be slightly more durable.

My buddy put one in his old f150. had the whole rear redone and he maybe put 100 miles on it and something came appart in it and he had to buy everything again. the next one lasted fine and he beat on that truck allot. then ran it into the tree so i got the auburn and im planning on using it.
